If you want to see VHS football take on Lyndhurst this Friday in the NJSIAA Regional Championship you’ll need to be at the snack stand on Sellitto Field tonight, Tuesday, November 26.
VHS will be selling a limited number of advance adult, senior and student tickets there from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Any tickets left unsold tonight will be sold tomorrow, November 27, at the same time and place. UPDATE: Due to strong demand, the 5th Downers will also be selling tickets on Wednesday evening, November 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Sellitto Field. Tickets can be purchased with cash and exact change only.
Admission to the game is $12 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens.
On game day, tickets will be sold at MetLife Stadium at the Box Office trailers located at the MetLife Gate. Ticket booths open at noon and ticket prices will be the same as those being sold in Verona. Please note that the Verona fan section will be located on the East Side of the stadium in sections 108-118.
Parking is $15 for cars and buses. Gates for parking open at 11 a.m. The game kicks off at 1 p.m.
Verona Athletics wants you to know that tailgating with alcoholic beverages and any consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited at MetLife. “Ejections or arrests as a result of underage drinking or any other form of misconduct will jeopardize our schools eligibility to compete at MetLife or Rutgers SHI Stadium in future Championship Games,” Verona Athletics said in an email today.
No cans, bottles, or containers are allowed into MetLife Stadium. MetLife Stadium also strictly prohibits bags, backpacks, briefcases, umbrellas, and similar items. All items brought into the stadium will be inspected.
If you can’t be at the game in person, it will be live streamed via NJ School Sports Live. It costs $24.99 to watch the championship games.
