Monday’s volleyball game will be played for suicide awareness and prevention.

Very busy week ahead: The Board of Education’s Tuesday meeting will include a presentation on the mental health ballot question and Thursday’s Planning Board meeting will be reviewing an affordable housing ordinance. All Verona High School sports teams are in action, with volleyball playing a game Monday for suicide awareness and prevention. And the week ends with Our Lady of the Lake’s two big community events, Kinderfest and Oktoberfest.

VHS underclassmen pictures
Soccer: Boys varsity vs. Montclair, 4 p.m., at Montclair’s Fortunato Field
Tennis: Girls varsity vs. Millburn, 4.p.m. at VHS
Volleyball vs. West Orange, 4 p.m., VHS. Game to be played for suicide awareness.

Tuesday, September 25
Cross country meet, 4 p.m., Branch Brook Park
Soccer: Girls varsity vs. West Essex, 4 p.m., at West Essex
Tennis: Girls varsity vs. Mount Saint Dominic, 4.p.m. at VHS
Board of Education, 7 p.m., Verona High School Learning Commons. Will include presentation on the second ballot question on the mental health initiative.

Wednesday, September 26
Tennis: Girls varsity vs. West Essex, 4 p.m., at West Essex
Volleyball vs. Livingston, 4 p.m., at Livingston.
