FlamingoesThey’re baaack!

From April 24 to 28, members of the VHS Spotlight Players drama program will be sprinkling the town of Verona with bright pink flamingo lawn ornaments with good-hearted messages for the recipients in a fundraiser that will help subsidize the drama program at Verona High School.

How Does It Work? Send a trio of flamingos for $10 or a flock (a dozen feathered friends) for $15 to someone’s front yard. The birds will roost on the lawn for 24 hours and then will migrate to their next destination. You also can “forward” the birds for a small fee.

Don’t want plastic flamingos on your lawn? You can purchase AntiFlocking Insurance for $45, which will protect you from any deliveries for the entire week.

To flock a friend or buy insurance, contact Patti Walsh of the Spotlight Players Parents Association by email at [email protected] or by phone at 862-333-8044. The last day for orders is Thursday, April 27.
