Verona Council candidate Edward “Ted” Giblin held a campaign event at the Verona Inn Tuesday night. Over 100 supporters attended the event to meet and listen to their candidate’s ideas for Verona’s future. “I want to thank you for your overwhelming support for our campaign” said Giblin. During his speech Giblin outlined his issues of holding the line on taxes, public safety, and growing a vibrant downtown business community. “Together we can make Verona’s future a better place for our children.” He continued “This is not my campaign; it is OUR campaign! The people of Verona deserve leadership that does not focus on just today. Rather, it demands leadership that focuses on the future.” Giblin outlined the state of the campaign and the issues that face Verona. Robert Rowbotham, an attendee, stated “tonight was a great night for the campaign and for Verona. I believe Ted Giblin will make a wonderful councilman. Just as Ted has run a terrific campaign, as a councilman, he will hit the ground running on day one.”

Election Day is May 9th and Edward “Ted” Giblin is 1-A on the ballot. If you would like to join the Giblin Campaign, please visit the website or Facebook page.
