constructionsignIf you live or travel on Claremont Avenue, pay attention: Verona Township will begin a reconstruction of the road on Wednesday, October 19. The project includes sidewalk, curbing and driveway replacement work along with drainage improvements. Stanziale Construction will also be milling the existing pavement and repaving Claremont.

There will be limited access to Claremont Avenue during the work. Town officials say they will advise Claremont Avenue residents in advance of the days that the street will be closed for milling and paving. The township is asking residents and the rest of us to avoid Claremont as much as possible while the work is going on, but stick to the regular schedule for garbage and recycling pick-ups. (If you don’t know what that is, learn about the app that will keep you on track.)

If you have any questions during the course of construction, please contact the Township Engineer’s Office at 973-857-4803.
