Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. has declared a snow emergency in Essex County because of the forecasted storm. Beginning Friday, February 8 at 2 p.m., no parking and tow-away zone laws will be enforced on all Essex County roads. This will enable Essex County crews to effectively clear snow from the streets.
In addition, all roadways and senior buildings in the Essex County Park System will be closed beginning Friday, February 8, and visitation at the Essex County Correctional Facility will be cancelled on Friday, February 8 and Saturday, February 9.
