On Friday, December 7, County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. and the Essex County Office of Small Business Development and Affirmative Action will welcome representatives from the Port Authority of NY/NJ to discuss plans to raise the Bayonne Bridge. Small, women- and minority-owned businesses are invited to attend this meeting to connect with pre-qualified contractors for the Bayonne Bridge Navigational Clearance Program and learn about roadway and subcontracting opportunities for local businesses.
The meeting will be held in the 14th floor conference room of the county’s LeRoy F. Smith, Jr. Public Safety Building at noon. The building is located at 60 Nelson Place in Newark.
