The Verona High School cheerleading team is holding a three-day clinic for girls in kindergarten through 8th grade next week. The clinic will be held in the gym at Verona High School from Monday to Wednesday, October 22 to 24, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. each day. The cost is $30 per child. Then on Thursday, October 25, the cheer team will be holding its annual showcase to benefit the breast cancer research foundation Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Called “Caring Kids Fight for a Cure”, the showcase starts at 7 p.m. in the VHS gym and it will cost you $3 per person to see it.
