The big reveal of the renovated Hiram Cook Homestead–the home built by the man who gave Verona its park–is this afternoon, Saturday May 12, but the sneak peek on the real estate listing for the home suggests that it will be quite fabulous.
When we first saw the house at 14 Manor Road in August 2010, it was in sad need of rejuvenation. It has gotten that and more, and the four-bedroom, two-bath Carpenter Gothic is now on the market for $679,000. Not bad when you consider that Verona Park is your front yard and you don’t have to mow it.
