Mark your calendars for this big game: On Tuesday, May 1, the Verona Hillbillies baseball team will take on the Cedar Grove Panthers at Yogi Berra Stadium in Montclair. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for kids, but all kids under 12 who wear youth baseball or softball jerseys get in free.
In addition to the game, which is always a good rivalry, there will also be some recognition of up-and-coming ball players. This year, it will be the fifth grade barnstormers from the two towns.
