Laning Avenue School Hosts Spring Concert

On April 11, Laning Avenue school hosted its annual spring choral concert. The event was entitled Broadway Beat and featured music from Broadway hits including Chicago, The Sound of Music, The Wiz, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof, Wicked and The King and I, just to name a few. The third and fourth grade students performed for over 400 guests and thanks to the work of Ms. Jean Hughes and the Laning teachers, the performance was exceptional and there was plenty of dancing, and not just from the students.
