Even though the Verona Public Works Department is still clearing away tree problems caused by the October snowstorm, they will begin picking up Christmas trees today, Wednesday, January 4. Clear your tree of decorations and place it at the curb, and be sure to remove the plastic bag or sheet that you used to carry it out of the house. Tree collection will continue every Wednesday through January 25.
