You can take the kids back in time today at the Israel Crane House in Montclair. Jane Eliasof, a Verona resident who is a volunteer for the Montclair Historical Society, has let us know that from 1 to 3 p.m. kids can churn butter, sip cider by an open hearth, watch candles being dipped, play historic games and more. Admission is $8 per adult and $5 per child, with a maximum family admission of $25. The Israel Crane House is located at 108 Orange Road.
