10U Fall Baseball Makes The Playoffs

The Verona 10U fall travel baseball team is heading to the playoffs. The team is entered in the Cedar Grove League, which consists of teams with players in both 5th and 6th grades. The Verona team consists of only 5th graders, but despite that, the team ended the regular season at 8-2 with two close loses to two teams composed entirely of 6th graders, Nutley and Totowa. The playoff game is likely to be Sunday, October 24 in Cedar Grove.
