158 Woodland Avenue

If you’ve been waiting to find a home in Verona, this may be your weekend to look. Thirteen homes have lowered their prices in recent days, some by more than 12%.

That’s what happened at 158 Woodland Avenue, a house that was feature in last week’s story about homes near F.N. Brown elementary school. The asking price was dropped  by $54,000–12.3%–to $385,000 on October 10. The condo apartment #6BW in the Claridge II complex has also been lowered by $54,000, to $395,000. This is a two-bedroom, two-bath unit with just over 1,700 square feet. A much larger Claridge unit, #6HW, is now $525,000, a cut of $24,000.

Two smaller condos have also seen drops. 29 Park Court was lowered by $4,000 to $185,900 and 3 Wedgewood Drive #104 was cut by $10,000 to $199,900. At 17 Wedgewood Drive, apartment #81 is now $187,000, down from $192,500.

Across town in the Laning district, the price of 31 Cumberland Avenue is now $15,000 lower, at $399,900, while 276 Linden Avenue, near F.N. Brown, is $25,000 lower at $324,900.
