Verona is a memorable place. So memorable, in fact, that people remember small details about it even when they are away at college.

Like TJ Jones, who won this week’s Where In Verona, even though he is away at Ursinus College outside of Philadelphia, starting his final year as a major in exercise sport science. That, plus the time he is spending learning to coach basketball, is preparing him for a career as a physical education and health teacher.

When Jones, a Verona native, is home, he catches up his buddies from the Verona High School class of 2007 over a meal at Jack’s Cafe. He obviously took in the decor as well as the conversation, since he recognized the photo that we put up Monday as belonging to that Bloomfield Avenue eatery. Look for it in on the left wall of the larger photo by Fred Goode below, and the next time you stop in for a bite. And if you see a really tall guy in a stylish MyVeronaNJ baseball cap–the 6’6″ Jones plays for the Ursinus basketball team–say congratulations.

Check back next Monday for a new Where In Verona contest to win a cap of your own.
