The GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Verona will be holding an evening of wine, food and friendship on August 19 at 7 p.m. The free, informal gathering will give prospective new members a chance to meet current members and learn more about the organization, the volunteer support it gives to the community and how to join. Serving Verona since 1927, the club is comprised of women ages 18 to 40+ who organize activities, special projects and donations for the community. For details, location and to RSVP call or e-mail Melissa Symczak (973) 857-3757 or [email protected] or Doreen Arminio (973) 433-7159 or [email protected].
