MyVeronaNJ-Bunny-BrunchEaster is early this year and fast upon us, which can only mean one thing: It’s time to get tickets for the annual Bunny Brunch hosted by the GFWC Junior Women’s Club of Verona, and the Verona Juniorettes.

This year’s event is on Saturday, March 27 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 10 Fairview Avenue. Bagels, muffins, coffee, tea and juice will be served. Bring your camera and take a photo of your child with the Easter bunny. There will also be children’s craft tables.

Proceeds will benefit the club’s Adopt-A-Family program, which provides hot meals, food, clothing, holiday gifts and other assistance to families in need. The Junior Women’s Club also provides the food for the nurse’s pantries at all of our local elementary schools.

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door for $5 per person; children under one are free. For information and to purchase tickets, contact Lisa Freedman at 973-857-5825 or Katy Coleman at 201-704-8575.
