V-SEA, the Verona Summer Enrichment Academy, is holding a meeting for parents about its 2010 summer program on Monday, March 22. The meeting will be held in the H.B. Whitehorne School Media Center, beginning at 7 p.m. Enter through the school’s main door and follow the signs to the Media Center.
The V-SEA program is open to children entering kindergarten in September 2010 through the eighth grade. V-SEA is held at three different schools depending on grade level. These correspond to the age groups for the Verona Recreation Department’s summer programs, making for easy transfer between the two. It runs from Tuesday, June 29 through Tuesday July 27 and costs $355 per student. You can download a brochure about it from the News & Information section of the Board of Education’s Web site. For more information, contact Dr. Larry Siegel, 973-571-6753, or HBW Assistant Principal Jeff Monacelli, 973-571-6751.
