It’s not too late to buy tickets for the H.B. Whitehorne Middle School SCA fundraiser this Friday evening. This year’s event features an evening of mystery and intrigue in the Verona Community Center. The New Jersey-based Riddlesbrood Touring Theatre Company will use unusual light effects and mood-setting music to convert the VCC ballroom into a live game of Clue.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Dessert, beer, wine and soda will be provided but guests are also encouraged to bring appetizers and desserts to share. At 8 p.m. murder mystery characters will start casing the joint. As they mingle with the guests, listen carefully. Their conversations are likely to contain important clues to solving the mystery. Of course the first person to solve the puzzle wins! And so does HBW since the proceeds will benefit academic programs at the middle school.
According to event organizer, Lisa Violante, tickets may be purchased at the door but only until 8 p.m. The fun costs just $35 per person. To purchase tickets in advance, contact Lisa at (973) 420-9636, or by e-mail.
And don’t forget your spy glasses!
