my-veronanj-haitiHere’s a great idea that we’re borrowing from our friends at Baristanet, Montclair’s local blog: Take out a classified ad on MyVeronaNJ anytime between today and the end of January, and we’ll donate 100% of the proceeds to help the recovery effort in Haiti.

This is a win-win: You’ll get money for that old swingset, find a sitter, or get the word out about your new jewelry/vitamin/dog-walking business, while helping the Haitian relief effort. Taking out a classified ad with us is $20 for a 30-day listing and $40 for up to 4 photos. That’s an introductory price, so take advantage of this opportunity to reach a concentrated audience of potential customers. And reach ’em you will–we broke the magical 1,000-page-views-a-day ceiling 2 weeks ago.

Just click on the word Classifieds (it’s under the black navigation bar that’s under our logo), then click on the green “Place Ad” tab. The Web site will guide you through everything you need to do, including payment using a secure PayPal system. We’ll send everything we get from these ads to Haiti via the Red Cross.
