It was another big medal week for the Quinn siblings. Kieran Quinn and his sister Sidney traveled to Ireland again to compete in the Four Nations Tournament between Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England. The Verona teens played for the Irish national team; their father is originally from Ireland and once played on the Irish team too.

Kieran Quinn, who is a 6’9″ freshman at Gill St. Bernard’s School in Gladstone, New Jersey, played for both the Irish U16 and U18 teams. The U16s finished with a silver medal after losing to England, but the U18s took home the gold. Kieran Quinn will likely return to Ireland this summer to play more ball.

Sidney Quinn, who is 6’2″, competed with the Irish U18 women’s team this year and had a big hand in its gold medal win. She is a junior at Gill St. Bernard and has made a verbal commitment to the United States Naval Academy, a Division I basketball program.
