Mini Laxers is Verona’s kindergarten through second grade introductory lacrosse program. Each session lasts an hour, and the kids will learn basic lacrosse skills and rules of the game through a variety of drills and activities.
Mini Laxer sessions usually occur from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. every Saturday from April to the end of May on Freedom Field, up the hill from the Verona Community Center.
The program costs $75 for the full season. Participants also need to have a USA Lacrosse membership, which costs $35 and covers player insurance. Sticks can be purchased through the club for $40 if you don’t have your own.
