Calvary Lutheran Church will welcome its new minister this weekend.

The church, which is located just off Bloomfield Avenue on South Prospect Street, will hold a special worship service this Saturday, February 10, at 2 p.m. when Pastor Anthony Giordano will be installed. If you cannot attend in person, it will be live-streamed here.

Calvary, a member of the Lutheran Church of the Missouri Synod, has been serving Verona and its surrounding communities since 1928. The church accepts and preaches the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther, which can be summarized by these three phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.

Pastor Giordano’s first service will be on Sunday, February 11 at 10:30 a.m. All services are live-streamed. For more information, please visit Calvary’s website.
