The Verona Public Library and the township’s Multicultural Inclusion and Accessibility Advisory Committee will host an event celebrating Black History Month on Saturday, February 17, at 1 p.m.

All are invited to attend the event, which will include kids’ crafts, refreshments from Mo & Jay Pastry of Little Falls, and a special presentation by Verona resident and renowned architect, William M. Brown III.

Brown will share his journey as a professional, including how he got his start at the first African American architectural firm in Newark, and how he always prioritized community service. The event will take place at the Verona Public Library, 17 Gould Street.
