One of the signature holiday traditions of Verona, the 25th Live Nativity at Calvary Lutheran Church, will be presented on Sunday, December 17 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Church members and friends, dressed in elaborate costumes, will be joined by live animals in an outside manger scene. Refreshments, takeaway children’s crafts and favors will accompany the tableau. There will also be Christmas music and caroling in the church sanctuary.

The event is free and open to the public and it will be held in rain, sleet or even snow.

Calvary Lutheran Church is located at 23 S. Prospect Street, Verona, 1 block off Bloomfield Avenue.

For more information, contact the church at 973-239-0577 or visit www.veronalutheran.com.
