The First Presbyterian Church of Verona will be hosting two events over the next few weeks.

First up is the Princeton Girlchoir in concert on Sunday, October 22 at 3 p.m. The group will be performing Songs of Joy under the direction of Dr. Lynel Joy Jenkins, Donald C. Morris and Chaequan Anderson (who is also the church’s director of music). There is no cost for the concert, however, a recommended donation of $15 would be appreciated.

Then on Friday, October 27, the church will have its annual fish fry dinner. Meals of either fish or chicken will be available for $20. Meals will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. or you can pick up a meal starting at 5:30 p.m. that evening. Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased at the church’s thrift shop (open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Call the church office at 973-239-3561 for information.
