Marching Band Festival Returns October 14

The Verona High School Music department, in association with the New Jersey Marching Band Directors Association and the Verona Music Parents Association, will once again hold the Verona Festival of Bands on Saturday, October 14, beginning at 5 p.m. Nine bands will be performing and the day will be capped by an exhibition performance by the Verona Marching Maroon and White at approximately 8 p.m.

Participating bands include (in order of appearance): Glen Ridge High School, Hawthorne High School, Bernards High School, Wayne Valley High School, Livingston High School, Phillipsburg High School, West Orange High School, Morris Knolls High School, Roxbury High School, Verona High School.

Tickets to enter the event will be $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Children under 4 are free. Lakeside Deli will provide food for purchase. Hot and cold beverages, baked goods and other snacks will be on hand for purchase as well. Air-Grams and Candy-Grams are also available to send to your favorite performer. All funds raised go directly back to the Verona High School Music program.
