Michael P. Inglesino, 80, of Verona, passed away on June 4, 2023.
Relatives and friends are invited for visitation on Wednesday, June 7, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday 10:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell with entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey.
Born in Brooklyn, he has been a resident of Verona since 1949. He worked in the maintenance department for the Verona Board of Education for 25 years. He met his wife Judy at Mountainside Hospital in 1989, where they both worked. They married in 1992 and spent 30 loving years together. Later, he was a crossing guard and worked at the recycling center in Verona.
In 1960, Mike joined the Verona Auxiliary Fire Department and became a member of Engine Company #1 in 1964. He later was an exempt fireman and became a lifetime member in 1997. In his spare time, he adored collecting antiques and was quite proud of his collection.
Pre-deceased by his parents, Michael A. Inglesino and Rachel Inglesino (Cassano) and his sister, Vicki Thomas.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 30 years, Judy Inglesino (Muoio); his brother, Bert Inglesino and his wife Ann; brothers-in-law, Joe Thomas Sr. and Frank J. Muoio and his wife Denise, and several loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Verona Fire Department or to the Verona Rescue Squad.
