Mrs. Harriett A. (nee Miller) Ganning, 82, died on Wednesday, August 31, at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.

Services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, at 1 p.m. in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona. Condolences may be left at www.ProutFuneralHome.com

Born and raised in Orange, Mrs. Ganning lived in Hoptacong for 30 years prior to moving to Verona earlier in 2022.

She worked in the Assigned Risk Department for USF&G in Livingston for many years, retiring in 1992.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward R. Ganning.

Mrs. Ganning is survived by her children, Jo-Ann Dillon, Joseph R. Dillon and Catherine M. Bachant (John); her stepdaughter, Camille A. Land and her stepson, Ronald Ganning; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and her brother, George A. Miller.
