House Fire Quickly Extinguished

Very early on the morning of Tuesday, August 2, the Verona Fire and Police departments responded to a report of a house fire.

Engine Company #1, which is based in the fire house by the Verona Community Center, quickly extinguished the fire. There was damage done to the back of the house but no people were injured.

As with all structure fires, there will be an investigation of the cause.
