Assistive Technologies Workshop Wednesday

Verona CHILD, a volunteer group that supports children with special needs, is letting families know that there will be an online workshop on Wednesday, April 13, on innovations in assistive technology. The event is sponsored by Decoding Dyslexia New Jersey and The Reading League’s New Jersey chapter.

The workshop, which will be led by Dr. Brian Friedlander, will focus on technologies that can be used in the classroom to support reading, writing, and note taking. Friedlander, who is is an associate professor of education at Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown, will share some new tools that can promote more independent learners.

The workshop will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. online and you can register for it here.
