The Verona Recreation Department is looking to run a ski program to Mountain Creek this winter for Verona students in sixth to twelfth grades. The bus will depart from the Verona Community Center on five Thursdays at 3 p.m. and return around 9 p.m. The exact dates for the trips will be announced later.

Lift tickets will be a group sale rate, $139, for a five-trip season pass purchased directly from Mountain Creek with a Verona town discount code. The bus cost will be $100 per participant and, if you need to rent gear, that cost is $109.

To gauge interest in having such a program, the Rec Department is asking interested families to use its Community Pass system to pre-register for free. Go to your account, and register for the ski program.
