Mrs. Ann (nee King) Mann of Montclair passed away peacefully at Crane’s Mill on October 11, 2021. Interment will be at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery, East Hanover. The services will be private. Mrs. Mann was born in Verona where she remained for 36 years before moving to Montclair in 1966 and to West Caldwell in 2008.

She attended Upsala College in East Orange and was employed as an office nurse in Verona for 16 years, a volunteer and member of the Mountainside Hospital Auxiliary for 36 years and a volunteer for PAWS animal shelter in Montclair.

Mrs. Mann was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Mann in 1996, a sister Jean Kahrs in 1991 and a sister May Kosanowicz in 2003, both of Montclair. She is survived by stepson James Mann and his wife Lynn of West Caldwell, grandchildren Lindsay Pugliese and her husband Thomas, and Brooke Laster and her husband Benjamin, and great-grandchildren Madison, Nicholas, Lilly, Matthew and Stella.

Above all else Mrs. Mann loved life. She loved to meet new people, have a little fun and share a good laugh with anyone who was near; a laugh that was infectious and unforgettable. She was a lover of animals and adored her family. She never missed a moment to tell those she cared for how much they meant to her. She enjoyed nothing more than sharing her kindness and had a way of making everyone she met feel special. She lived for 25 years without her husband and made the best of her time but longed to once again be reunited with him in heaven. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her yet comforted knowing she is at peace.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, 575 Woodland Avenue, Madison, NJ 07940 or Make-a-Wish Foundation 1384 Perrineville Road, Monroe Township, NJ 08831
