Helping The Lions Club Help The Community

The Lions Club has been serving Verona for 70 years. They had a float in Verona’s 75th anniversary parade in 1982.

In April, the Verona Lions Club mailed its annual White Cane appeal to Verona residents. This appeal seeks donations to help the service organization continue its many community services, which now include a hospital equipment loan program, assisting veterans in need, suicide prevention, fighting childhood diabetes and other local projects.

If you have not yet returned your tax-deductible contribution, please think of doing so today. You can also support the White Cane appeal by making a donation through the Lions Club’s website.
