Dear Editor:
I am writing this letter in support of Jack McEvoy for Verona Town Council. I’ve had the opportunity to observe Jack as a member of the Verona Town Council and as the current Mayor of Verona. Additionally, I’ve also had the privilege of working directly with Mayor McEvoy as a volunteer member of the Verona Neighborhood Traffic and Safety Committee. Jack is a lifelong Verona resident. He is hard-working, well-informed and dedicated to the people of Verona. He is responsive to the needs of Verona residents and takes the time to examine all sides of an issue prior to making a decision. I believe these are the qualities we need on the Verona Town Council and I hope that you will join me and cast one of your votes for Jack McEvoy on May 11, 2021.
