Mr. Anthony Aquila, Jr., 92, died peacefully at home in Cedar Grove on December 13, 2020. Services and interment were private.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Iselin, N.J., Mr. Aquila lived in Verona and Hunlock Creek, Pa. prior to moving to Cedar Grove in 2014.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948.

Mr. Aquila was the owner of Star Litho, Inc., a printing company in New York City for over 50 years.

Mr. Aquila was predeceased by his beloved wife of 68 years, Anne (nee Mecsics) Aquila; his son, Mark Aquila; granddaughter, Amanda Oliver; parents, Anthony, Sr. and Amelia (nee Nunziato); and brothers, John, Albert, Warren and Dominick.

He is survived by his loving children, Anthony Aquila, Anita Aquila Moran, Hope Frungillo (Alfred) and Nancy Oliver (George); and his cherished grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Keith, Chelsea, Kristina, Anthony, IV and Lindsey and great-grandchildren, Chiara, Alessandro, Leonardo, Dominick, Joseph, Anthony, Jr. and Vivienne.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cedar Grove Ambulance & Rescue Squad would be greatly appreciated.
