Luke Nawrocki and Ryan Barrow were among the Verona kids who learned about Caldwell University’s esports management program.

Students in Caldwell University’s Introduction to Esports Management course hosted an “Esports for Everyone” event for parents and children from Verona on November 16.

The young people were able to learn about the university’s bachelor’s in esports management program and esports team. Neil Malvone, Caldwell University assistant professor of sports management and esports management, presented on the course work related to the esports industry. University students shared their experiences in the new academic program.

The Verona visitors had the chance to tour the state-of-the-art esports arena and watch the esports team play. Perhaps the biggest highlight of the day was when the kids were able to jump the computers and play the games themselves.
