Former Mayor Honored By Essex County

Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. (right) recognized former Verona resident and mayor Robert R. Detore, chief executive officer of Turning Point, Inc., and Courtney M. Gaccione, Esq., Essex County counsel and county adjuster, as “Stellas della Contea di Essex” (Stars of Essex County) during the 2019 Essex County Italian-American Heritage Month celebration on Tuesday, October 29th in the lobby of the Essex County Hall of Records. Decorated in the festive Italian colors of red, white and green, the lobby was a standing-room only backdrop for the cultural festivities.
