The Verona High School volleyball team will travel to Cedar Grove on Wednesday, October 23, for their annual Dig Pink match. The match, which raises money for two breast cancer foundations, begins with the junior varsity team game at 5 p.m., and will be followed by the varsity team game at 7 p.m.

The beneficiaries of the funds raised by Dig Pink are the Side-Out Foundation, which focus on stage IV breast cancer research, as well as the Minette’s Angels Foundation. Minette’s Angels is a Verona-based nonprofit that provides assistance to women and families undergoing treatment, as well as providing scholarships to nursing students at Seton Hall University and Verona students entering the medical field.

Monetary donations will be collected at the door. Refreshments will be served throughout the evening. Cedar Grove High School is located at 90 Rugby Road.
