Verona Sets October Date For Green Fair

Sustainable Verona and the Township of Verona are happy to announce that the 4th Annual Verona Green Fair will be Saturday, October 13, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Verona Civic Center. This is a makeup date from May.

This event is free and will feature many different types of vendors including, crafters, non-profit organizations, exhibitions and demonstrations, children’s games and learning experiences, a free shredding event, medicine drop-off, health, wellness and nutrition information, speakers, live music, various local food vendors, fresh organic produce and much more.

New for this year will be the first Open Streets Fest on Gould Street, which will feature biking activities, games, safety checks and free bike maintenance.

Sustainable Verona strives to raise awareness about environmental issues, innovative sustainability ideas and to showcase the steps people and their community can take to sustain their quality of life over the long term. People of all ages are encouraged to come and explore the world of sustainability, eat, play and have some fun!
