The Verona High School boys basketball team will take on Don Bosco Prep on Friday, March 17 in the NJSIAA boys basketball Tournament of Champions. The game, which has a 5:30 p.m. start, will be held at the Pine Belt Arena in Toms River, about a 90-minute drive from Verona. The Pine Belt Arena is adjacent to Toms River North High School.

Verona advanced to the ToC by beating Woodbury 69-54 in the Group 1 final this past Sunday, for Verona’s first Group championship since 1957. Don Bosco Prep claimed its place with a narrow 69-66 win over St. Augustine in the Non-Public A final.
