OldComputersVerona kicks off its recycling of electronics in 2017 on Saturday, January 14.

If you have a TV, computer, monitor or other electronic device, you can drop it off at the Department of Public Works, which is located just before the turn into the Recycling Center at 5 Ozone Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The the next drop-off days will be in April, July and October. It has been illegal to put things like TVs and computers at the curb in Verona since 2009.

The easiest way to stay on top of the recycling dates is to put an app called Remyndr on your smartphone. As MyVeronaNJ.com reported last year, Remyndr is a free app that was developed by Verona resident Tom Cherry to help all of us remember when to put what at the curb. There’s more information on all aspects of recycling on the Website of the Verona Environmental Commission.
