Real Estate Pares Prices

toddler-scissorsThere was little in the way of “irrational exuberance” in the Verona real estate market last year: Prices rose only about 1%. But the new year is beginning with some new adjustments to the price of five listings, with two of those listings getting a $25,000 cut. There are also three new listings and five open houses this weekend, including one property with both Saturday and Sunday showings.

Here’s what’s happening in each category, form lowest priced to highest:

NEW LISTINGS
25 Wedgewood Drive: 1 bed, 1 bath condo. Newly painted, washer/dryer in unit. $172,800. Open house Sunday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
5 Orchard Street: 2 beds, 1 1/2 baths. Open floor plan. $369,000.
10 Pease Avenue: 2 beds, 2 baths. Fenced yard, finished basement, for sale by owner. $550,000. Open house Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

45 Oak Lane: 4 bed, 2 bath cape. Eat-in kitchen, sliders to patio. Cut $20,900 to $479,000. Open house Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.

1 Claridge Drive #110: Studio condo in full-service high-rise building. Updated kitchen, new floors. Cut $19,100 to $149,900.
2 Claridge Drive #10NW: 2 bed, 2 bath condo in full-service high-rise building. Updated kitchen, baths. Cut another $25,000 to $374,900.
45 Oak Lane: 4 bed, 2 bath cape. Eat-in kitchen, sliders to patio. Cut $20,900 to $479,000. Open house Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.
8 Cypress Avenue: 4 beds 1 1/2 baths. Quiet street near F.N. Brown. Cut $25,000 to $474,900.
