Carol Anne Morris, 77, of Verona, formerly of Huntington, N.Y., passed away on Monday August 8, 2016, at her home. Visiting will be held on Sunday, August 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave, Huntington Station, N.Y. A committal service will be held on Monday morning at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, N.Y.
Carol was born and raised in Richmond Hill, N.Y., before moving to Levittown and then Huntington, where she raised her family. Three years ago, she retired from a tenured career as an executive administrator at Crown Advertising in Hicksville, N.Y. and settled in Verona with her daughters.
She is survived by her four daughters, Elizabeth Morris, Diane Klysa (Peter) and Nancy Zerin (Sam) of Verona, and Jacqueline Covelli (Dan) of California, Md., and seven grandchildren, Zachary and Olivia Marino, Alexandra and Emily Klysa, Jason Zerin, and Tyler and Trevor Covelli. She was predeceased by her husband John Morris in 1999.
