On Monday, April 18, the third annual Hearts of Hope event will be happening at Verona High School. This event, with a suggested donation of $5, involves painting a heart for cancer patients in an effort to lift their spirits. Since the program’s inception, nearly 500 hearts have been delivered to the Blumenthal Cancer Center at Valley Hospital.
Hearts for Hope starts after school in the VHS cafeteria.
