Freschi-SCALisa Freschi is set to speak at the “Essex Toastmasters Speakers Series” on Thursday, May 28. She will share with us how Toastmasters helped with her personal and professional life. The objective of this series is to provide practical, real life experience of how Toastmasters can genuinely change your life by helping you with your public speaking and leadership skills.

Lisa Freschi was with Essex Toastmasters for almost two years and during that time, she participated on the Executive Board as Secretary for one term and did various roles during meetings such as Grammarian, Timer, Toastmaster, Evaluator, and Ah-Counter. She is the owner of Above the Standard Procurement Group, a financial solutions company that helps small- to medium-sized organizations improve their profits through procurement. Her background is in education and she is a sitting member of the Verona Board of Education. Toastmasters helped Freschi transition from the education world to the business world because of the type of speaking she does in her business compared to working with students.

Please show her your support and stop by this Thursday, May 28 at 7 p.m. at the Verona Public Library.
