The most critical issue facing Verona today is the ever increasing property tax rate, and the affect that burden has on homeowners.
As councilman I have been a consistent voice for fiscal responsibility. I’ve stood up to budget increases and voted against raising taxes 3 years in a row. If re- elected I will:
- Institute a value for money analysis of all township expenditures
- Eliminate no-bid contracts to create savings for taxpayers
- Continue to make government more transparent and accountable
I ran for council four years ago because I wanted to help build a stronger Verona for future generations. I promised to cut wasteful spending and increase accountability in municipal government. I got to work and got results.
With council candidate Alex Roman, I will continue to fight for Verona taxpayers.
Whatever happened to the internal investigation regarding the Verona Police IT Dept. issues? The matter seemed very serious, but I see no follow up or update on progress of the investigation?
We’re all waiting, Anthony Matos. Best guess is that we won’t see it until after the election.
