Lions5050The Verona Lions Club is conducting its annual fundraiser by selling Super 50/50 tickets. The public service organization relies on this 50/50 campaign to support its varied public service endeavors to the Verona community, including its unique Medical Loan Closet, contributions to various local charities, college scholarship presentations, supporting sight-related charities, etc..

At $10 per ticket, if all 1500 printed tickets are sold, two prizes totaling $7,500 will be awarded. Last year, prize money totaling $6,500 was awarded to two lucky ticket buyers.

“You must be in it to win it!” If you’re interested in purchasing a ticket(s) you may contact any Verona Lions Club member or look for members selling tickets Saturdays between 8:30-12:00pm at Verona Township businesses including the 7-Eleven on Bloomfield Ave., leading up to the drawing on December 12, 2014 – just in time for the holidays.
