Verona Police have sent out an alert that there is a water main break on Montrose Avenue between between Hill Street and Pease Avenue. There will be no water service there for “several hours”, and the police say the problem may cause water discoloration elsewhere.
Montrose is closed between the two side streets, so you’ll need an alternate route for school pickups this afternoon.
This stretch of Montrose was also closed by a water main break back in July.
